The surgery seemed like it went well. I was in little to no pain yesterday. Sleeping was not fun however… I woke up very stiff and sore at 1:00 in the morning. I’m actually utilizing my pain meds this time. I usually don’t take them after surgery. (Update- I had to stop the pain meds this afternoon due to them making me violently throw up.) I feel so much better standing up than laying down. I’m not much of a “sitter” any way.
My mother-in-law is a saint. She drove in 5 hours just to make sure I have a mother’s love and care through my healing process. It’s so nice to have a woman in the house right now. She’s keeping everyone on track for me so I can relax.
I received so many awesome texts yesterday morning prior to the operation. I have such amazing people in my life. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
Im going to be pretty restricted for up to 8 weeks so I cannot pick back up on my house painting or furniture projects til around May. That may just kill me!!!! I do plan to do quite a few furniture projects that will be for sale. I always love when I rehome pieces! Giving things new life and purpose is so satisfying.
Thats all for now!
